The lifeblood of The CRY HAVOC Company is the weekly CRY HAVOC Workshop, which is designed to provide a forum for the Resident Artists and other members of the CRY HAVOC community to work and receive moderated feedback on plays, scenes, monologues, and other work that challenges their natural comfort zone. The Workshop also serves as a critical incubator for new plays in the early stages of development, providing a forum for the rigorous dramaturgical exploration and discussion required to prepare a play to go into rehearsal.
The Workshop promotes interaction between artists of all theatrical disciplines (actors, playwrights, directors, and designers) and at all levels of training and professional experience. In addition, the Workshop provides an entry point for artists from outside of CRY HAVOC to be introduced to CRY HAVOC, the community, and its work.
