College Play Collection
CRY HAVOC understands how difficult it can be for college students to find complex, compelling, and challenging plays that feature characters their own age. So we went back through our catalogue of plays that CRY HAVOC has developed over the years and identified a selection of one-acts featuring exclusively characters who are in their teens and early twenties. All are available royalty-free for performance by university theater departments and student theater groups, or used in classes for scene study and director's projects.
HAVOC for the Holidays
Every year for ten years, CRY HAVOC produced collections of “Very Short Holiday Plays” as part of our annual fundraising. These plays became hallmarks of our development approach, as dozens of writers brought in short plays that were rigorously workshopped each year. We combed through all the plays created for these fundraisers over the years to publish a collection we felt epitomized the CRY HAVOC aesthetic and standard of quality. This collection explores the joy, heartbreak, and anxieties that can go hand-in-hand with holiday celebration – featuring 23 plays by 14 of our artists.
